3. Bed end dressers

This piece of furniture is a cross between a bed end chest and a dresser. These dressers are the smallest yet, as they only reach a height of a foot and a half. They are specifically placed at the foot of the bed. They resemble bed end chests only that instead of a big opening on top, you find drawers. These kinds of dressers are perfect for kids’ rooms and play areas. You can use them to store small pieces of clothes like underwear, socks or towels, and also store small toys, books and coloring materials.

4. Shoe dresser

This is a less conventional design for dressers. These dressers are big, and are fitted with 1-2 drawers that open up like accordions to reveal a large space that is made especially for shoes. The space is divided into small cubicles that carry one shoe each. Most of these dressers are made with maple as maple wood has deodorizing properties. This is a great way to store, organize and protect your footwear.These types of dressers are great for walk-in closets and big rooms.

5. Extra-tall dressers

Extra-tall dressers are dressers that go beyond 4 feet in height. These dressers feature larger storage spaces as they can have as much as 10 drawers. These types of dressers are so versatile because of their large storage space. You can use them to store clothing articles and other items like jewelry, cosmetics, books and other trinkets. Most of these dressers are made of hardwood and so they are very tough and long lasting. If you need extra shelf and storage space in your bedroom or in your home, then an extra-tall dresser is the one for you.

When choosing a dresser, always bear in mind your needs and the design that you want. It is not impossible to get both at the same time, you just need to know where and how to look your choices. Set a budget, and try not to go over that budget without sacrificing quality.
